CRARR SEEKING BUS AND METRO RIDERS' ACCOUNTS OF DEALING WITH STM CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS SERVICE

Montreal, December 17, 2013 --- Bus and metro riders who have filed complaints with the STM/Montreal Transit Corporation's customer service department over employee misconduct and discrimination are invited to share their experiences with CRARR.

CRARR is preparing a major submission to the public transit agency's Board of Directors and the Mayor of Montreal concerning the STM's policies and procedures regarding the handling of bus and metro riders' complaints and service standards, and the company's employee training program, especially where civil rights and discrimination are concerned. The submission will be made public at a press conference to be held during Black History Month 2014.

All information will be treated confidentially. Public transit users can send their comments by email by clicking on one of the three “Take Action Now” boxes on the right of the CRARR's web page.
