UNIVERSITY DISCRIMINATED AGAINST ARAB SECURITY GUARD IN EMPLOYMENT: HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION

Montreal, October 14, 2011 --- With CRARR's help, a security guard of Moroccan ancestry has won his case before the Quebec Human Rights and Youth Rights Commission, after his application for a security guard position with a Montreal university was rejected in 2005 because the head of security at the time did not want Arabs or minorities working in that service.
