BLACK YOUTH FILES RACIAL PROFILING COMPLAINT AGAINST OFF-DUTY SAINT-CONSTANT POLICE OFFICER
Montréal, February 26, 2019 — Almost two years after being arrested at gunpoint by nearly a dozen police officers, and detained for hours as a result of biased reporting, a young Black man has filed a civil rights complaint against the white resident, an off-duty police officer, who had called the police upon him.

Montréal, January 25, 2019 - The mother of a 10-year old Black child at McCaig Elementary School in Rosemere, who was exposed to repeated acts of racial discrimination and harassment since the Fall of 2016, is deploring the fact that the school has again mishandled the incident of her child being once more called the N-word in class last week.

Montréal, December 21, 2018 — CRARR has joined a 40-year-old English-speaking Black man with a physical disability in calling on the Quebec Human Rights and Youth Rights Commission to end its practice of allowing police officers to attend mediation with their firearms and other weapons.

Montréal, November 14, 2018 — An English-speaking Black man in his 50s will take The Bay to the Human Rights Commission for having detained and interrogated him after he applied for a Hudson Bay credit card.
The downtown department store staff then called the police after suspecting his identification was fake when filling out the required credit card form.
