CRARR SET TO TAKE ACTION ON BEHALF OF BLACK MOTHERS AND DAUGHTERS ROUGHED UP BY MONTREAL POLICE


Montreal, April 16, 2010 --- CRARR is seeking witnesses of a police intervention at a bus stop in front of the Guzzo Cinema on March 20, 2010, that led to the violent detention and treatment of three Black teen-age girls and their mothers.

Suspected of making graffiti, the three girls, who just came out of a movie, were detained and abusive searched in public.
