Montréal, May 13, 2016 — The final phase of a criminal trial of a young Black man of Haitian background, in which racial profiling is a key element, will continue on Monday, May 16, 2016, at 9.00 am, at the Montreal Municipal Court, Room 1.20 (775 Gosford, Champs-de-Mars Metro Station).

Aymar Missakila, counsel for Mr. D.D., and the prosecution will present their final arguments on racial profiling.

The media and the public are invited to attend this trial and see how the courts and the City of Montreal prosecutors address racial profiling. The pleading began last week and the trial judge allowed it to continue next Monday.
